Moving back home means a lot of cleaning (we had new windows installed and the whole apartment was covered in dust) and moving stuff around so I haven’t had a spare second for blogging. All of our stuff needs closet and drawer space (you’d think a three room apartment would be just about enough for the three of us, but our stuff could use a whole apartment of its own), shelves need dusting, curtains and bed linens need washing and ironing, etc etc. Luckily, little ladybug enjoys her privacy so I have just enough time for cleaning, home improvement and cooking a few meals.
So, where were we? I promised to report on our trip to Sweden, which, by the way, was a great success.
Baby woke up at about 5.30 a.m. for a snack and when we looked out the window, we saw the rescue operation that delayed our arrival by three hours. Someone had fallen overboard another ship and we stopped to aid them. We found out later that it was a Finnish lady that unfortunately remained lost. Was exciting to watch nonetheless, the picture is awfully blurry but the bright dot to the left is a rescue float-thingy.
Just as happy as she is every time she wakes up. I admit her being in the cabin window started off by me staging a cute photo but when I tried to pick her up she didn’t consent so she ended up hanging out there until arrival.
I realize now we barely took any pictures at all on our trip but then again there wasn’t much to photograph. It was lovely to see my mummy and I bet she was thrilled to see us (at least the little bug) as well. Someone should have taken a photo of us on our way back to Estonia, we had so much stuff it’s a miracle we made it back without leaving half of it behind and never looking back. You’ll see what we got once we’re done settling back in at home.
